Lisa Ryan, MD, PhD

Dr. Ryan grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. She earned her undergraduate degree at Binghamton University in New York and returned to Nebraska to complete her medical education. During her time at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, she spent several years researching the effects of HIV on the brain, graduating with a medical degree and a PhD in pathology. Dr. Ryan completed residency training at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Although no longer certified, Dr. Ryan became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2012 and continues to provide lactation support in the office. Dr. Ryan has been practicing pediatrics in the St. Louis area since 2007. She and her husband have three children.
